This holiday season the L.A. office wanted to concentrate on the “public” part of Public Relations and give back during the holidays. So, in a great team building activity, our office donated time, hands and muscles last Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the One Voice Holiday Drive, a non profit organization helping families living at poverty level to receive what they need for a Christmas meal, as well as toys and books for the children.

We were assigned to a center in Compton in South Central L.A. There, we set up various stations for families to receive their meal supplies and gifts. We also distributed and carried the donations for the many families.

Although it was a lot of work, the hugs from the children and the sincere thanks from their parents more than made up for it.
