The Making of a Theme Park Pundit

Situation: ITEC Entertainment is a global leader in live and location-based experiences. They sought increased visibility for their CEO as a thought leader in the space.

Strategy: Over the course of H1 2020, Fusion Public Relations positioned ITEC Entertainment’s CEO as a prominent leader and expert source for reporters to speak with regarding the theme park industry despite media disruption from the pandemic. Furthermore, as consultants for the brand, we developed and executed marketing and communications strategies to rebrand and transform ITEC Entertainment’s identity and platform and further expand its global dominance within the industry.

Results: As a result of our efforts, the CEO appeared as a guest on CNN, CNBC’s Squawk on the Street and FOX Business Network multiple times. He also became a key correspondent on theme park reopenings for national print media, including Business Insider, USA TODAY, NPR 1A, the Los Angeles Times and CNBC Online. Over the course of the following six months, ITEC Entertainment’s CEO reached a broadcast audience of over 250 million U.S. households and over 400 million readers. Together, we built strong relationships between ITEC and top-tier media outlets, including CNBC Online and the Los Angeles Times, as well as secured placements in Forbes, Fast Company, Reader’s Digest, Detroit Free Press, Reading Eagle, The Motley Fool, Inside the Magic, Blooloop, Coaster 101, and Amusement Today, to name a few.
